25 years that Sergeant Garcia makes Europe and North America to the South sway irresistibly. The term «salsamuffin» he coined condenses the fusion between rumba, ska, reggae, dancehall and Latin and Afro Caribbean rhythms.

His collaborations with a number of international artists, both on stage and in the studio, also bear witness to this cross-fertilization and wide-ranging artistic openness: Fermin Muguruza, Amadou et Mariam, Eric Bobo from Cypress Hill, Amparanoia Gambeat (Manu Chao's bassist), Ojos de Brujo, Bomba Estéreo, Peret, Celso Piña, Mexican Stepper and many others.
